Pompidou centers, madhouse…
When I first came across a photo of the Pompidou Center in college, I said this is crazy…
Or it is an unfinished building. So, what is this?
Without going into the reasons that influenced the design of this building, it actually stands out from the classic.
The Pompidou Center, or the National Center of Arts and Culture in Paris, looks unfinished. Maybe that was the author’s goal.
Various installation pipes visible on the facade were deliberately designed. All with the aim of creating a special style in design
buildings.
It paved the way for high-tech architecture design engineering.
Here, we also have our Pompidou centers…
No, because we are creative, nor because we copy something, but by coincidence. Both legal and professional…
Namely, when it comes to old buildings, there is a problem.
Today, residential or commercial spaces in such buildings are connected to gas installations. Well, then the vent pipes have to be laid
somewhere …
On the facade, of course, but in a way that does not pollute neighboring areas.
The legislation is limited.
With the lack of creations of gas installation contractors, new unusual shapes are being created.
Creations very close to the design of the Pompidou Center.
Even my neighbor, who is arranging part of his facade on the building, would be nervous.
And he would do it better and more creatively.
One of the rarely successful Pompidou centers…
Oh, I’ve already written to him here.
There is no need to compare these our interventions and beautiful buildings. It is better to go fishing than to comment on it …
But see for yourself:
