“Getting up…“
Bedrooms…
Our bedroom window was oriented to the east…
It always annoyed me when I was woken up by the sun’s rays during sleep… That is right in the eye… As if as a punishment…
Even as a child, I have to admit, even now… No matter how much I put my head under the pillow, and lowered the blinds, in vain, there is no dream…
I couldn’t move the bed, because it complicated my other things… My brother and I, as children, each slept on our own bed…
East and West…
It’s not even strange, because that’s what we were taught at the Faculty of Architecture… It is recommended, where possible, to orient bedroom windows to the east…
Precisely for this reason, which bothered me…
Or towards the west, so it wouldn’t bother me, because there is no rising sun, but setting sun…
Although it is west, in the summer months it is hell on that side… from the heat, of course…
Sometimes, when we cannot do otherwise, we design the living room towards the west… Then, for months in the afternoon, we have daylight and warmth… This is not bad in transitional periods…
In spring and autumn…
North and South…
North and south are extremes… It’s always cold in the north, and always warm in the south… It’s just a question of the day when the bedrooms will be oriented to the north, and the living rooms to the south…
Well, if you could see the awakenings… You would sleep like babies…
