“A dog is so faithful that you simply don’t believe that a human deserves such love, Ilija A. Iljf…”
My first dogs…
I got my first puppy from a friend… The little dog was a few months old… I went to elementary school… Since I wasn’t allowed to take the dog into the apartment, I left it in the basement…
But not for long…
My parents woke me up in the middle of the night… they were woken up by the whining of my dog… I don’t remember how that night went, but the next day, I had to return the dog…
The other dog was a white stray… I called her Lily… She ran and barked after cars… She also slept under my balcony… They told me to stay away from her because the supposedly white color is not good… It doesn’t bring ok… I think she got hit by a car…
The next dog was a German shepherd… I rescued him from some neglected yard… I called him Vučko… He adored me…
At my whistle from the balcony, he ran in front of the door of my apartment on the second floor… He knows he will get food… I don’t know what happened to him…
American Stafford…
The penultimate dogs that my wife Sanja got were poodles… They were too expensive… Dad and son… Adi and Bigi… Dad was black and the son was white… They died last year… They were 17 and 15 years old…
We currently have an American Stafford… We adopted her when she was 1.5 years old… She was allegedly beaten by drunk and drugged people… Her name is Lou… She is loyal, peaceful, careful, and doesn’t care about herself…
It’s a breed that doesn’t have a very good reputation… Apparently, like pit bulls, they were bred for various fights…
Ours is traumatized, but peaceful… As much as she adores children, she hates cats as much…
My Lou doesn’t have a muzzle, but she is always on a leash… I only let her out away from people in our Fort…
She is good and listens to me… She is socialized and obedient… We don’t shout at her, but everything is in a quiet, nice, and pedagogical way…
Shelter for abandoned dogs…
In our city, regardless of the existence of the Asylum, there are a lot of abandoned dogs… They roam public areas… They run after cars, bicycles,… Sometimes they even bite someone…
They should also have trained employees to catch them…
The asylum was established for too long… Everything went slowly, irresponsibly, and sloppily… Everything is visible on the links below…
Like everything here…
