Chicken eggs …

My cousin Dragan trained hard in Teakwando… He was 23 years old then and ran day and night…

He lived in a small village Latin in Croatia…

 

Dragan studied mechanical engineering in Rijeka…

 

We children used to come to our uncle’s during school holidays… We used to work there… Looking after sheep, cows, collecting hay, loading it into the hayloft…

They played with the other children… They stole potatoes and corn, roasted them on the fire and ate…

 

My uncle had a carpentry workshop… He made all the household and agricultural tools you can think of… My brother and I liked to go into that workshop and tinker with something…

 

We lived and ate healthily… Strina cooked polenta every day…

Dragan drank fresh chicken eggs every morning… He pierced it on one side, then on the other side, leaned over and drank it…

 

Naive children …

And if my cousin really drank chicken eggs, we children were naive… We believed in everything and anything… In what we saw, but also in what we didn’t see…

 

Children believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and other fictional characters… And let… It’s nothing bad…

 

Or, naive sheep …

In the same way, today some trust politicians…
