We children from Klasije park …

Our Park in the neighborhood was one of the most beautiful in Yugoslavia…

 

We children lived more in it than in our own houses…

We played various children’s games in it…

 

There were various types of ornamental shrubs, coniferous and coniferous trees… Even monuments and a waterfall…

A tree with four trunks grew and still grows in it…

 

We called it Tarzan’s tree… After the main character from the movie “Tarzan”…

He crossed, with the help of lianas, from one tree to another…

 

Tarzan’s tree …

Tarzan was an idol to us boys… One neighbor used to imitate Tarzan’s famous cry from the balcony…

We used to climb that tree with four trunks, pretending to be Tarzan…

 

That’s why we called it Tarzan’s tree…

How dangerous the game was, the fact that I once fell… and ran out of air… is proof.

 

Namely, in the same Park, but on a different tree, there was an attractive branch… Attractive to jump and grab onto with your hands… from the back of a nearby bench…

 

That’s how it was… I flew twice… First from the bench to the branch, and when I didn’t manage to grab onto the branch, I flew towards the ground…

I fell on my back and ran out of air… 

 

I was mad at Tarzan…

We children very often watched various children’s movies or series … And we imitated the cute main characters…

 

In various ways… Until something bad happens…

Then it’s everyone else’s fault except us…

 

And that’s how we children are…
