In most of the old churches and other buildings, you could always feel the humidity… In the air… And that from their damp walls… Here in Croatia, churches were built from baked clay…
The walls, probably for structural reasons, were very thick… The foundations were also made of the same material as the walls…
Baked clay is a material that absorbs moisture… From the ground into the foundation, and then this moisture rises by capillary action into the walls… Because there was no waterproofing between the foundation and the walls…
The moisture from the walls evaporates into the interior of the buildings, so we feel it… The interior spaces have very few windows, so very little sunlight and air enters it for ventilation…
Mysticism, without end …
Church towers, like the Pyramids, almost touch the clouds, so due to their compactness in terms of monumentality, they are eternally mystical…
As if they are making some kind of connection with the Aliens…
