The former, most beautiful park of “Klasije” in Croatia …
I grew up in our Park … We played there as children, from police and thieves to football and hide-and-seek …
The park was very beautiful … with promenades, benches, public lighting, waste bins … There were even signs in the green areas that said: “Don’t step on the grass” …
I don’t remember having a park ranger. But I remember that there was a vocal-instrumental band called “Guardians of the Park”.
The grass was the greenest, and the trees and shrubs of all kinds … So something bloomed all year … I don’t remember crow’s nest…
Crow’s nest…
It seems to me that crows multiplied after the Homeland War in Croatia … Hence crow’s nests …
I don’t know what the bigger problem is when the cub falls out of the nest and dies … Well, part of the park stinks, because none of the utilities picks it up … Or when a crow hits you with feces …
One year, the hunters shot at them … I guess with the aim of dispersing them … I think they even succeeded, but they came back very quickly …
So, there was no effect …
The problem still remains … Crows, in that park, are shitting on us …
Crazy, confused, normal…
After about 15 years, someone remembered that nests were being torn down… That’s how it was… With a high crane, they pruned tree branches for a few days and tore down crow’s nest…
The crow’s nest fell down on the grass … and the crows stayed on the trees … Again the problem was not solved … The crows will continue to shit on our heads …
The only solution, in my opinion, is to change the route of the hiking trails or cut the branches above them …
Why does the City Administration not regularly maintain/control it?
