“Brrrr …“
Trenches, Catacombs…
As children, everything was interesting to us… Mostly us boys… We always loved dirty work… If we weren’t playing in the mud, we were digging canals, trenches, shelters…
It was lucky when some utility companies would dig trenches for their utility infrastructure… Then we used their trenches to play war, hide and seek, research…
But that’s not all… Here in Slavonski Brod (Croatia), there are real catacombs – underground corridors… They once connected the Fortress with the center of the City…
As children, we used to enter them… Among the underground buildings, we also have atomic shelters… But about them for another time…
A cave without a prehistoric man…
As part of a tourist trip to Lika, the Association of Licans from Slavonski Brod, “Wrill of Wisdom”, organized, among others, a visit to Cerovac Cave…
The entrance to the Cave is on a hill… We had to climb a few hundred meters up, then a few hundred meters into the depths of the Cave…
I can’t describe the experience to you, so you will experience it yourself from the attached photos and videos…
From the freezer to the sun…
You enter the cave at +6 °C and come out at 30 °C…
Brrr…
