Nausea on the bus…

Every Sunday we went to our grandmother Ivka… To the village of Podvinje, 5 kilometers away from our apartment…

Sometimes on foot, sometimes by bus… It was dark blue… It said “Slavoniatrans”…

 

I always sat right behind the driver, because I felt nauseous if I sat deeper in the bus… I felt nauseous because I was looking out the window while driving… So my images “flew” and I felt the exhaust bus gas…

It stank in it…

I didn’t go to primary school then…

 

A long time ago, after those bad experiences, I read in a magazine that nausea occurs because the brain reacts to “flying images and exhaust gases”, as if it is in danger, so it “defends itself” by vomiting…

 

Waiver of graduation trip…

At the end of the eighth grade of elementary school, each generation goes on a small graduation trip…

That’s how my class went… But without me…

 

I still couldn’t stand riding on the smelly bus, but not even in private motor vehicles…

 

When I had to go somewhere, I always had to take anti-vomiting pills… And have a vomit bag with me… Especially, if the bus was driven by a “coachman”, as if he was driving potatoes, not people…

 

To this day, I regret that I didn’t go to that graduation party with my class… I think they were somewhere at sea… I don’t remember anymore…

 

Who are the mayors and smelly bus drivers…

But, that’s why at the end of technical high school, we went on a graduation trip… Some by train, some by bus…

 

Meanwhile, as I grew older, I stopped being sick of the “flying pictures” and the stench of exhaust fumes on the bus…

Now there are new buses… More comfortable and equipped… You don’t feel the exhaust gases of the bus anymore, but the driver and some passengers…

 

Buses are driven by uncultured drivers of concessionaires, with whom Mayors sign Transport Agreements…

Honor to the exceptions, but these are the drivers who drive as if they were potatoes inside, not human beings…
